Since we never get a wintry Christmas, we decided that these school holidays, we'd bring you a midwinter Christmas!
Each of the libraries has chosen their own set of activities, which means you can pick and choose the activities that sound fun to you or do all of them! There's no charge for the school holiday programmes - just come along with your best Christmassy ideas and get creative. There may even be some fun prizes up for grabs.
The activities on offer are as follows:
Matamata Library
- Tuesday 1 July, 10.30am: Snow Globe Making (suitable for children aged 5 and over)
- Wednesday 2 July, 10.30am: Crazy Christmas Hat Catwalk (suitable for children aged 5 and over)
- Monday 7 - Saturday 12 July: Christmas Movie Quiz (suitable for children aged 5 and over)
Morrinsville Library
- Tuesday 1 July, 2pm: Suncatcher Christmas Crafts
- Friday 4 July, 10.30am: Christmas Cookie Decorating
- Wednesday 9 July, 10.30am: Reindeer Games
Te Aroha Library
- Monday 30 June, 10.30am: Make Your Own Christmas Crackers
- Wednesday 9 July, 10.30am: Jingle Bell Garland Making
- Monday 30 June - Saturday 12 July: Quiet Midwinter Christmas Activities
