For those who aren't familiar, Movember is a worldwide event aimed at raising awareness about the many health issues that predominantly affect men - largely because men don’t tend to talk about their health. The Movember website states that “a growing number of men – around 10.8M globally – are facing life with a prostate cancer diagnosis. Globally, testicular cancer is the most common cancer among young men. And across the world, one man dies by suicide every minute of every day, with males accounting for 69% of all suicides.”

Whether you are (or know) a chap who needs mental health support, hasn’t been to the doctor for a check-up in a while, or just want to put the word out that there’s people out there who care, the Movember initiative lets anyone and everyone do their bit to tackle – and raise awareness of – men’s health issues.
