Poetry Tasting evening

Join other poets or poetry curious folk to celebrate Phantom Billstickers National Poetry Day at Te Aroha Library. Sample a selection of poetry from around our beautiful country and even share your own if you are keen. 

We'll set up 5 tables with a sample of selected poems for you to 'taste'. From children's poetry, to local poets' work, to NZ Poet Laureates and more - you may discover something new to love and have a chance to discuss poetry with others.  You don't have to be a poet or even a poetry-lover to attend - this will be a fun social evening at the library with a chance to try something new.
