This June is an opportunity to try a new genre, app, hobby, craft or lifestyle, and share your experiences with others! If you want to take part in our "Try Something New Month" activity, drop by the library anytime during June to pick up a Try Something New Bingo card.
You can share photographs of the outcomes of your new activities with us, and we will to inspire others to ‘give it a go’. Any participant who has completed a Bingo Card, and shown us a photo of a new and interesting thing they've tried will be entitled to one FREE Hotpick!
Our Bingo Card will include things like:
- Read a Te Reo Maori book.
- Attend our Knitting Day event.
- Read an eBook, or listen to an eAudiobook.
- Read an article on Pressreader.
- Track down a family member on Ancestry.
- Learn how to do something new with the help of a Non-Fiction book, and show us a photo.
